Are there notifications available?

For students, they will get notification of activities (for comment replies, upvotes, deadlines) via email once a day. For teachers, notifications will be sent if there are comments directly linked to them.

Is there analytics of student performance available?

Yes, we provide an overview of student progress in all tools along with more in-depth performance analytics according to each tool.

How do students keep track of their progress?

Students can keep track of their progress through the various process trackers and tabs available in assignments. Additionally, students will get additional notifications when deadlines are approaching.

Are the assignments reusable?

Yes, teachers can reuse the assignments they created by choosing ‘copy from existing’ in the set up.

Are grades configurable?

Yes, teachers can configure grades as needed and decide whether they want it to be formative or summative.

How is Discussion Assignment different from Comprehension?

Discussion Assignment focuses on building students’ critical thinking through peer interaction on students' own work while Comprehension focuses on building students’ annotation skills on provided study material.

What file types are supported?

We support various document, video, audio, image file types as well as website links and others.

How is Discussion Assignment different from Peer Review?

While both are based on students' own work, peer review focuses on peers assessing the skill of peers based on criteria provided. Discussion Assignment, on the other hand, focuses on peers discussing the work of peers without specific criteria.

Is anonymity available?

Anonymity is not available for the Discussion Assignment tool as that will then defeat the purpose of allowing students to interact and discuss with their peers.
