The LDC Awards honor those who lead the way in innovative, effective learning design.

Launched just a year ago by FeedbackFruits, the Learning Design Community was born from our mission to empower educators through best-in-class learning design. Since then, it has become a global hub for collaboration, inspiration, and the exchange of innovative practices in higher education.

Now, to further that mission, we're introducing the LDC Awards, a celebration of the individuals driving meaningful change through innovation in learning design.

      Our jury of experts will review submissions and shortlist three finalists per category using a detailed evaluation rubric.

          Who can submit a template activity?

          Any learning designer, higher education educator, or expert using FeedbackFruits can upload a learning activity directly through their FeedbackFruits environment by clicking “Submit to Community.” The submission will be included in the LDC and be eligible for shortlisting For step-by-step guidance, visit our Help Centre.

          How many templates can I submit?

          You can submit as many activity templates as you'd like.

          What happens with my activity templates?

          Your activity template will be published in the LDC for the global educator community to explore and download.

          What can I win?

          The winners in each category will receive a free trip to Amsterdam for the awards ceremony and celebratory dinner, an engraved trophy, and a monetary prize.

          What happens if I get shortlisted?

          You’ll receive a notification by email. If you choose not to participate, you can opt out at that stage.

          Are there any costs involved?

          No. Submitting and participating in the awards is completely free.

          Who is behind the LDC Awards?

          The LDC Awards are hosted by FeedbackFruits as part of our commitment to supporting educators and fostering innovation in learning design. Together, we’re building a global community that shares, learns, and leads.

          How will the shortlisted entries
          be selected?

          All submitted templates will first be categorized based on their type and purpose. From there, the jury will evaluate them using a detailed scoring rubric, considering factors such as innovation, usability, impact, and overall design quality. The highest-scoring templates will be shortlisted for the awards.
