Meet our speakers

A well-known and recognized e-Learning expert, Prof. Emer. Richard Powers, University of Maryland Global Campus, is currently a Professor, Trainer, and Learning Designer with the University of Stuttgart in Germany, where he teaches blended learning courses to develop competencies in generative artificial intelligence, digitalization, and diversity for pre-service teachers. He is an EU eTwinning Ambassador for Germany and won the 2022 Teaching Award for Excellence at Stuttgart University. He also is an online educator with City Colleges of Chicago, where he develops faculty training. Prof. Powers helped shape the International Council of Distance Education's (ICDE) Living Letter on Ethics of AI in Higher Education at the June 2024 Global Leadership Summit.

Danial Barth Hasan works as a Multimedia Specialist at FeedbackFruits. Starting his journey in education in 2014 as a Librarian Assistant in the UK, he later moved to the Netherlands to study Science Communication and Education at Utrecht University. Since joining FeedbackFruits in 2020, he has been responsible for documenting use cases and video production.
