Start using this template

Activity steps

  1. Instructions: Read and modify the instructions to adapt to the needs of your project.
  2. Discussion posts: Edit the post to include a model response that makes sense with your project.
  3. Peer discussions: Allow students to discuss the different proposals with the goal to get to a decision on the topic
  4. Valuable contributions: Students will send the chosen topic to the instructor as a “valuable contribution”
  5. Grading: Instructors grade and publish the grades as needed.

In this activity

  • Depending on the group dynamics, you may choose to make contributions anonymous using the Submitter Anonymity setting. Use this if you have a small number of students leading al decisions and would like to give voice to other contributions
  • In addition to the response modelling, you may also choose to enable the Discussion coach AI feature. This will guide students towards writing better post and feedback.
