Join us for an online Community of Practice exploring how educators are implementing Team-Based Learning (TBL) to create more engaging, collaborative classrooms. In this session, you’ll hear from two fellow educators who will share real examples from their courses, including how team activities are structured, the challenges they encountered, and the impact on student learning.Leave with practical ideas you can apply in your own teaching, plus the opportunity to exchange insights with peers during a short discussion and Q&A.

Meet our speakers
Sebastian started teaching as a Visiting Language Instructor and Coordinator for the German Program at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. After returning to Germany, he became a freelance teacher for integration classes working with immigrants and refugees for several years before joining European Studies at HKBU in 2019.
Siva is a Lecturer and Senior Manager (Overseas Programme) at the School of Health Sciences, Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Siva joined NP in 2016 and has experience in clinical practice and education in nursing and midwifery across Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia. Siva has been practising Team-Based Learning (TBL) since 2018 in both synchronous and asynchronous settings to support effective collaborative learning for nursing and optometry students.
