Peer Review

Stimulate lifelong learning with peer feedback

In this activity

  • The activity centres on peer discussion of game design concepts submitted by student groups, guiding reviewers to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each concept and contribute constructive insights.
  • The activity promotes active learning by shifting students from passive feedback receivers to active feedback evaluators, strengthening critical thinking, peer collaboration, and reflection.
  • Group submission is enabled, with each group submitting a brief description of their game design concept; individual students then participate in peer discussion across groups.
  • Students must nominate the most valuable contributions from the feedback they receive, encouraging them to critically assess feedback quality rather than simply collecting comments.
  • Both submitter and reviewer anonymity can be enabled to encourage honest, constructive dialogue, though these settings can be adjusted to suit your course structure.
