Engaging online discussions to foster meaningful interactions
In this activity
- Students submit a 2–4 minute podcast reflecting on a chosen “red flag” legal issue, incorporating personal or professional experiences. The topic can be adapted to suit the focus of your course.
- Students must listen to and discuss at least two of their peers’ podcasts, though this number can be adjusted to fit your course.
- Students have the option to explore and discuss additional peers’ podcasts beyond the assigned two to broaden their understanding of legal issues.
- An optional reflection step is included, allowing students to consider how engaging in the discussion influenced their understanding and perspective on the topic.
- Grading is based on completing the podcast submission and participating in the required discussions, and can be adapted according to course needs.
