In this activity
- The SOLO rubric is included to assess each learning objective and can be adapted or expanded as needed.
- Teachers can use this template as a coaching moment, encouraging students to pause and reflect on their learning so far and plan their next steps, promoting awareness of current progress (feedback), goals (feed-up), and actions for improvement (feed-forward).
- This assessment may be used at any point in the course to reflect on student progress.
- A reflection step is added for students to take the time to review their own self-assessment and think about how to implement the insights moving forward.
- Grading is disabled, as the activity focuses on using the SOLO rubric solely as a guide for discussion and reflection rather than for calculating a grade.
