AMSTERDAM - FeedbackFruits has been shortlisted for the 2021 Reimagine Education Awards with two separate entries: FeedbackFruits Tool Suite in the E-learning award category and the Automated Feedback tool in the AI Award category. Considered as “the Oscars” of education, the Reimagine Education Awards is the largest global awards program for innovative pedagogies. The Awards, organized by the Wharton School and QS Quacquarelli Symonds, celebrate approaches that enhance student learning outcomes and employability, thus fundamentally changing the educational landscape.
“The Reimagine Education Awards are designed to provide reliable, robust signals to the education sector regarding the quality of teaching and learning across the world’s universities – and those edtech solutions that have most successfully demonstrated their efficacy, uniqueness, and scalability.”
The judging panel – made of over 300 independent experts from 45 countries – commends FeedbackFruits for using existing e-learning tools in an innovative way to facilitate and support learning through the use of information and technology. The Steering Committee and the judges cohort acknowledge that FeedbackFruits pedagogical tools successfully help optimizing course design for all higher education's educators.”
The Steering Committee further commended FeedbackFruits Automated Feedback “for leveraging artificial intelligence with a unique approach to improve students’ learning outcomes and teaching delivery.”
This year’s Awards saw over 1100 submissions across 16 different categories, the top 12% of which were chosen to be shortlisted based on five key judging criteria: project approach, project engagement, project impact, scalability, and competitor comparison/uniqueness. The shortlisted entries demonstrate innovation, versatility, and effectiveness in promoting impactful, collaboration-based pedagogical approaches and solving the problems that prevent optimal learning.
FeedbackFruits’ CEO, Ewoud de Kok, credits this achievement to the company’s focus on centering educators by collaborating with them to deliver the most effective solutions for pedagogical transformation. Ewoud said:
“Our tools have been developed with a clear mission in mind: to help teachers and course designers build transformational learning experiences. We believe that devoted and innovative educators truly drive learning design forward.”
The winners will be announced during the Virtual Reimagine Education Conference between 8 and 10 December 2021.
