The AI Pact Voluntary Pledges, initiated under the AI Pact, aims to help stakeholders prepare for the implementation of the EU AI Act. While not legally binding, these pledges are declarations of engagement to uphold transparency, safety, and ethical considerations in AI practices. Signatories agree to publicly share their commitments and report on their progress within twelve months, contributing to a culture of accountability and best practices across the industry.

For FeedbackFruits, signing these pledges underscores the company’s dedication to fostering safe, transparent, and human-centered AI pedagogy solutions within the educational sector. By adhering to the AI Pact, FeedbackFruits commits to:

  • Adopting an AI governance strategy to foster the uptake of AI in the organisation and work toward future compliance with the AI Act
  • Identifying and mapping AI systems likely to be categorised as high-risk under the AI Act
  • Promoting AI awareness and literacy among staff, ensuring ethical and responsible AI development

These are the core commitments of the pledge, for the full list of the commitments, check the signed pledge

Ewoud de Kok, CEO of FeedbackFruits, expressed excitement about this milestone:

“At FeedbackFruits, our mission is to enhance learning experiences through innovative technology while maintaining the highest ethical standards. By signing the AI Pact Voluntary Pledges, we affirm our responsibility to develop AI tools that are transparent, fair, and beneficial for all stakeholders in the education ecosystem. This is not just a regulatory step; it’s a reflection of our core values.”

The company’s participation will be highlighted by the AI Office, with FeedbackFruits’ achievements showcased as examples among the best practices in AI implementation. FeedbackFruits will also engage in roundtable discussions and events organized by the AI Office to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration within the AI community.
