FeedbackFruits and Drieam are partnering to connect in-course learning with programme-wide portfolio evidence, helping APAC institutions show how students truly develop over time.
FeedbackFruits has entered into a strategic regional partnership with Drieam to support institutions across the Asia-Pacific (APAC, excluding the Philippines) region with Portflow, Drieam’s Learning & Assessment Portfolio. As part of this partnership, FeedbackFruits will act as the primary reseller of Portflow in APAC, making it available through its existing sales channels.
Higher education institutions are increasingly looking for ways to move beyond fragmented assessment and feedback practices and instead provide a coherent, programme-level view of student learning. Portfolio-based learning plays a key role in this shift, helping institutions demonstrate how students develop competencies over time and graduate with clear evidence of their skills.
Portflow enables institutions to capture and showcase (FeedbackFruits supported) learning and assessment evidence across entire programmes, supporting curriculum mapping, learning outcomes, and accreditation processes. FeedbackFruits is critical in this process, as it provides the evidence while enhancing the formative assessment experience, feedback, and student engagement within courses.
Together, the two solutions support a more connected approach to learning design, feedback, and assessment across course and programme levels. While FeedbackFruits enables high-quality formative learning experiences at scale, Portflow provides the structure to collect and evidence learning across programmes, helping institutions make learning more visible, meaningful and aligned with real-world outcomes.
“By joining forces with FeedbackFruits in APAC, we are closing the gap between daily learning activities and long-term student success. Our goal is to provide institutions with a unified ecosystem where feedback isn't just a moment in time, but a building block for a comprehensive, evidence-based portfolio. This partnership brings together two Dutch EdTech leaders to offer a seamless 'best-of-breed' solution ensuring that educators can scale authentic assessment while giving students a meaningful way to own their professional growth.” said Jas Kalsi, Managing Director - APAC at Drieam.
"FeedbackFruits creates the learning evidence: the feedback loops, the collaboration, the formative assessment that actually moves students forward.” said Bas Hintemann, Chief Strategy Officer at FeedbackFruits.” In APAC especially, we see strong demand to connect that evidence across entire programmes, and Portflow is a great fit as a Learning & Assessment Portfolio to do exactly that. Because we both build for interoperability, institutions get quality learning design and a connected programme view, not one or the other.
The value of this combination has already been demonstrated at Edith Cowan University (Perth), where FeedbackFruits and Portflow are integrated seamlessly for the best user experience.
“We saw clear value in combining FeedbackFruits with Portflow as a Learning & Assessment Portfolio within our digital learning environment,” said Ratna Selvaratnam, Manager, Learning Technologies & Innovation at Edith Cowan University. “Together, they allow us to connect authentic learning and feedback with curriculum mapping and assessment evidence in a way that works for educators and scales across the institution.”
This partnership marks an important step in expanding access to portfolio-based learning across APAC, reflecting a shared commitment to pedagogical innovation, strong regional collaboration, and meaningful learning and assessment captured at scale.
